This variety is the best-tasting raw beet on the market! Its savory and earthy flavor has a touch of sweetness that compliments instead of overpowers. This variety will not bleed its color once cooked, but instead, the bright orange will turn to a beautiful mustard yellow. Greens are edible as well and are gold veined, making them a beautiful addition to any salad. Harvest: when the root is 1″-3″ around. Twist off greens after harvesting to minimize moisture loss.
